My life was no longer my own but yours
Then I heard You say "Go and tell them
To open your heart, let Me in
And I will supply your every need

Then I cried, "Lord I don''t now If I can do it"
"You will find your strength in me only believe"
Then I said, "What if I fail? I just couldn't take it"
He said. "I have given you my ability"

부르심에 나의 모든 것을 내려놓고, 돌아서지 않고, 오직 곧은 길로 오직 한길로 만 가는 것이 얼마나 아름다운지... 그것은 나의 의지가 대쪽 같고, 충성심이 뛰어나며 신앙심이 뛰어나서가 아니다. 오히려 나는 약하다 "Lord I don''t now If I can do it. What if I fail? I just couldn't take it" 나는 실패를 두려워하고, 무엇을 해야 할지 모르지만 주님의 ability로 나의 모든것을 올인~ 하게 하시는 것이다.

부족한 능력에 한계를 느끼며 도저히 섬길 수 없는 상황만이 지속 될때 나의 의지로 섬기는 것이 아니라 하나님의 마음으로 섬기는 것임을 본다. 의지를 뛰어 넘은 것이 아니라, 의지조차 내려 놓는 것임을... 그것은 자아에 대한 포기가 아닌 자아와 하나님과의 만남을 앞당기는 것이다.

부르심이라는 것의 주체는 내가 될 수 없는 것이다. 나를 부르신 하나님과, 나를 부르신 목적이 주체가 되어, 그 안에 구성요소로 필요한 것이 나임을 잊지 말아야 겠다.
